Had a paid Polaris ticket SFO to MNL and was honestly looking forward to the lounge.
Arrived about three hours early and it was packed. Tried to get into the restaurant and was told there were 28 people ahead of me and it closes at 9:30pm. Our flight was at 11:50pm. Didn’t make much sense.
Buffet area wasn’t great either. Empty dishes, messy setup, nothing really inviting. Only seating upstairs was near the restrooms, so “relaxing” meant constant door noise.
I know lounges get busy, but this felt way below what Polaris is supposed to be.
Has it been like this lately at SFO or did we just hit a bad night?
