A travel community for people who'd rather talk to humans than read reviews

We're Sean and David, and we built TalkTravel because we've been sharing travel tips and tricks since the early days of the internet. We're a community of travel enthusiasts — part travel hackers, part dinner party, part the best web 2.0 thread you ever stumbled into at 1 AM — built on the simple belief that the best travel advice comes from real conversations with real people.
The internet used to be full of places like this — forums where regulars recognized each other, where knowledge built up over time, where you could ask a weird specific question and someone who'd actually been there would give you a real answer. We missed that. So we tried to build the best version of it we could. No sponsored content, no promoted posts, no algorithm deciding what you should care about. Just travelers talking to travelers about airlines, airports, destinations, packing strategies, loyalty hacks, and wherever the conversation goes.
