I’m trying to keep track of the current status of WiFi availability on Qantas A330 aircraft, especially as the rollout seems to be progressing gradually.
From what I’ve gathered (based on a mix of personal experience and second-hand information), several A330-200 and A330-300 aircraft appear to now have WiFi installed, while others still do not or are in maintenance. There also seems to be some inconsistency between what the Qantas app shows and what is actually available onboard.
For example, I’ve noticed cases where the app indicates no WiFi, but the aircraft does have it in reality.
Here is the latest informal list I’ve seen circulating:
Multiple A332 aircraft (VH-EBA to VH-EBO range, and others) marked as having WiFi
Some units like VH-EBP and VH-EBQ reportedly still without WiFi
A333 fleet showing mixed availability, with some aircraft marked “Yes” and others “No”
A few aircraft listed as unknown or under maintenance
It seems like the rollout is still in progress and not fully standardized across the fleet yet.
If anyone has more recent or confirmed updates, especially from recent flights, it would be helpful to compare notes.
