We shared an update after staying at the InterContinental Athens. We mentioned that upon arriving at their room, we were pleasantly surprised to find a bottle of champagne and a small cake waiting for them.
We had previously emailed the hotel in advance to inform them that they were on their honeymoon, and the hotel appears to have prepared a small welcome amenity in response. We noted that their partner especially appreciated the gesture, describing it as a nice touch to the stay.
