UA748 from IAD to GVA turned around and is diverting to Newark because a laptop fell into the cargo hold. They’re either retrieving it or swapping aircraft.
This is apparently the third time something like this has happened in the past few months on Polaris flights. Feels like there should be a better way to prevent laptops from slipping through and forcing diversions like this.
