Hey all,
Just took one of the first SWISS A350-900 flights a short hop from Zurich to Hannover operated on a training rotation.
Even though it’s a short route, it was cool to experience their brand-new flagship jet before it starts long-haul service.
🛫 Flight details:
Route: ZRH → HAJ
Aircraft: SWISS A350-900 (brand new!)
Seat: 18A
Duration: ~1 hour
🪑 Cabin & Seat:
The interior feels sleek and fresh new materials, softer lighting, and that signature SWISS wood-and-leather aesthetic.
Seats even in economy felt a notch more comfortable than the A340s they’re replacing.
🍽️ Service:
Typical short-haul SWISS snack service but the crew were clearly excited to be operating the new aircraft, chatting with passengers and pointing out features.
🎧 Impression:
Extremely quiet. The takeoff and climb were so smooth you could easily forget it’s such a large jet.
Overall, really fun to be part of one of its early revenue flights can’t wait to see how it performs on long-haul routes.
