Your Uber Price to the Airport Might Change Depending on the Airline You Pick

Just discovered a sneaky Uber pricing trick and I had to share. Apparently, when you order an Uber to the airport like JFK, your fare can change depending on which airline you select for drop-off, even if they’re in the exact same terminal.

Someone on Instagram tested this with JFK Terminal 4. The cost to go to Delta was way more than selecting Virgin Atlantic both airlines use the same terminal! From Manhattan, the UberX to Delta was $110+, but to Virgin Atlantic it was $85. Same route, different price.

I tried it myself from Midtown and noticed a difference too. This is wild.

Moral of the story: play around with different airlines at the same terminal before you book your ride. Could save you 20-30%, especially on longer airport trips.

Anyone else notice this? Or is this just an NYC thing?
