Wrong first name and last name entered during booking?

Hi everyone,

I recently booked a ticket with Singapore Airlines and now I am worried I may have entered my name incorrectly during the booking process.

I have a long name, so when filling out the form I split it into two parts. I entered the first part under the “first name” section and the second part under the “last name” section so that it would match my newly created KrisFlyer account, where I entered my name the same way.

However, while booking another ticket, a family member pointed out that according to the Singapore Airlines website, my type of name may actually not have a first name at all, and that my full name should instead be entered entirely under the last name section.

For example, if the full name was something like “XXX 000 111 222”, I entered:

First name: XXX 000

Last name: 111 222

Now I am unsure whether this is acceptable or if I need to request a correction before travelling.

Will this cause any problems with check-in, visas, immigration, or boarding later on?
