Hi, I have an upcoming trip to Thailand with a layover in Dubai. It was booked as a package holiday through Emirates.
With the current FCDO guidance, I’m a bit worried the trip might get cancelled, since I understand that could affect ATOL protection for package holidays.
Has anyone recently been in a similar situation where their trip was affected or still went ahead despite guidance changes? If it did go ahead, how did you handle travel insurance?
We’re about 4 weeks away from departure, but I’m worried it might get cancelled a couple of weeks before the trip.
