I booked seats for both my outbound and return flights with Wizz Air, along with checked baggage. I assumed that selecting seats during booking also meant I was automatically checked in, since I had already provided passport details for all passengers during the process.
However, I still ended up being charged £40 per person at the airport. I thought I had already completed everything needed for check-in, and with other airlines, seat selection is usually tied to check-in so this isn’t an issue.
Has anyone else experienced this, and why does Wizz Air separate seat selection from the actual check-in process?
