My cabin trolley is 57 cm, which is slightly above Wizz Air’s size limit. The handle adds about 1 cm, while the wheels add 6.5 cm.
On Wizz Air’s website, it says the size allowance excludes handles and wheels, but wheels must not exceed 5 cm. This is where I’m confused:
If I subtract the wheels, the bag would measure about 52 cm, which seems within limits
If wheels are considered separately and exceed 5 cm, then the bag (without handle) would be 56 cm, which is still over the limit
The wheels are not easily removable unless unscrewed, which is inconvenient for travel.
I’m unsure how strictly this rule is enforced and how they actually measure bags at the gate.
