IndiGo has introduced its first long-haul flights, launching nonstop services from Mumbai to Manchester and Amsterdam in early July using Boeing 787‑9 Dreamliners leased from Norse Atlantic. Operating three times weekly, the airline combines its low-cost model with premium amenities such as hot meals, in-flight entertainment, and “Stretch” seating alongside economy. With plans already underway for further European routes including Copenhagen, London, and Athens, this marks a pivotal step in IndiGo’s bid to become a global airline by 2030 and to strengthen India–Europe connectivity.
