This has happened to me a few times now and I’m starting to wonder what people usually do in this situation.
I normally book the window seat. On multiple flights I’ve had the person next to me repeatedly lean over me to take photos or videos out the window. Not just once, but over and over during the flight.
One time I asked politely for them not to lean over me. They stopped for a bit, then did it again later while I was asleep and woke me up when their arm brushed me.
Most recently I was working on my laptop and the person next to me literally kept squeezing between me and my screen to reach the window for photos.
At what point do you just close the window? Or is that considered petty?
