I took this photo because this part of the station looks like this mainly because of the Dunkin’ Donuts location here.
I am guessing it is difficult for the station to clean or renovate this area fully since the shop is operating in that space and relocating it would likely require coordination and downtime.
It is interesting how retail placements inside major stations can affect maintenance and layout over time.
