I recently flew with Frontier Airlines on a short trip to Las Vegas and only brought a small personal bag since my ticket did not include a carry-on.
While there, I bought a print and did not think about baggage rules at the time. Now I am concerned I might be charged extra when boarding.
I know that fees at the gate can be higher, so I am debating whether to pay in advance or take the risk. I removed the print from its tube and rolled it up to attach it to my bag, since the tube itself exceeds the allowed size. My plan is to carry the tube separately during boarding and see if it is allowed, then put the print back inside afterward to avoid damage.
I would prefer not to ruin the print, but I also want to avoid unexpected fees. Has anyone dealt with a similar situation?
