We have booked a 21-day Mediterranean cruise with Princess Cruises as a single continuous itinerary (not as three separate back-to-back 7-day cruises). We selected a guaranteed mini suite, and our cabin has not yet been assigned.
The cruise departs from Barcelona and returns to Barcelona after the full 21 days.
We’re trying to understand how cabin assignments work in this situation:
Will we be assigned one cabin for the entire 21-day sailing?
Is there any possibility that we could be moved to a different cabin during the trip (e.g., between “segments” of the cruise)?
Does booking as one continuous cruise (instead of separate back-to-back bookings) affect this?
My understanding is that cabin changes are more common when cruises are booked as separate segments, but I’m unsure how it works with a single booking under a guaranteed category.
Has anyone had a similar experience with long Princess cruises and guaranteed cabins?
