That flight turned into a whole journey. FLL was so soaked they had to cut the fuel load and plan a stop in SLC. About 90 minutes in, someone had a medical emergency and a bunch of EMTs and nurses onboard worked on them for over an hour. We ended up diverting to ABQ.
Landing was super quick and hard, but we were at the gate fast. Paramedics came onboard and they’re refueling now, so doesn’t look like a long delay.
Honestly the crew was incredible through all of it. Constantly moving, helping with the emergency and keeping everyone calm. Definitely one of those flights where you’re grateful for who’s onboard.
