Wifi differences between paid and free onboard access on american airlines

I currently pay for a two-device monthly WiFi plan at $59.95 per month on American Airlines flights.

Now that many flights offer free WiFi, I am trying to understand whether there is any real advantage to keeping the paid subscription. Since my employer reimburses the cost, price is not the main concern for me what matters is whether the paid plan actually provides better service or benefits compared to the free option.

I am looking for clarity on whether it is worth continuing the subscription or if the free WiFi makes it unnecessary.

Update: I have decided to cancel the plan after receiving feedback.
