Why so many EWR–LHR flights leaving around the same time?

Looked at the schedule for Oct 8 and United’s running 7 nonstops from Newark to London that day, all on 763s. Three of them leave within about an hour of each other in the evening. Is there any real difference between them for someone in economy, or just a ton of capacity bunched together?
