I’m usually pretty good at finding J redemptions Europe, India, Africa, all easier than this. But Bangkok has been a wall for me. Been looking for 6+ months and the lowest I ever see is 110k+ one-way on meh carriers.
I’m IAD-based and would prefer an Asian airline, but SQ space is basically nonexistent unless you do a weird SIN–BKK layover thing I’m not comfortable with. Not looking to fly AC again either after they lost my bag.
Anyone actually booked BKK in business recently? Which airline, how many miles, and what routing? Is BKK just harder than the rest of SE Asia right now?
