I had a quick chat with a former TSA agent recently, and now I’ll never throw my phone into those security bins again. Apparently, they're a breeding ground for germs think baby food spills, wet shoes, and soda residue. And worse? Phones are easy targets for theft or accidents at that chaotic conveyor belt. I used to always toss mine in with my toiletries but no more.
Instead, just zip it into your carry-on or purse. TSA says it’s one of the few electronics that doesn’t need to come out anyway. Makes going through security faster and cleaner.
