Just back from a weekend in Anaheim and I’m convinced, Disneyland really does have some unique perks that Disney World just can’t match. For one, everything’s walkable. You can hop between Disneyland and California Adventure in just a few minutes without dealing with buses or monorails. Plus, there’s so much cool history here, Walt Disney actually walked these streets! I took a tour that included a peek inside his apartment above the firehouse, and it gave me chills.
Also, the little touches are so special. The Sleeping Beauty Castle walk-through, the Davy Crockett Canoes, and treats like the Raspberry Rose Mickey Macaron make the park feel personal and packed with charm. Even the weather’s better.
Anyone else prefer Disneyland over Disney World for a shorter, more laid-back visit?
