Why Are Canadians and Europeans Avoiding U.S. Travel

Just read that Canada, Germany, Spain, South Korea, and the UK have all seen major drops in tourism to the U.S., with Canada alone down 34%! As a Canadian who's been considering a cross-border trip this fall, this totally hits home. Between tighter immigration checks, visa delays, and the cost of the strong U.S. dollar, it’s starting to feel more hassle than holiday. Even places like New York and Vegas are feeling the pinch. Anyone else reconsidering U.S. travel plans?

Honestly, I’ve been eyeing trips to Europe or Latin America instead. Feels like there’s less red tape and more cultural warmth right now. Are other travelers making similar pivots? Curious what destinations you’ve shifted to if you were originally planning a U.S. visit this year.
