Flying Southwest today with the whole fam and we all showed up with giant overstuffed rollies. Took them straight to the gate and checked all five for free. Kinda feels like gaming the system, but honestly… they’re the ones who set the rules.
We board fast, don’t take any overhead space, don’t hold anyone up. And since we’re going international, the bags will hit the carousel long before we’re through immigration anyway.
Worked out great for us.
