Who is paying five grand for this?

I saw that offer and just laughed. 100k miles is nice, but it still feels like maybe two grand of value on a good day. The 15k LP and Gold part just makes it feel like a fancy group 4 boarding pass.

I fly AA a lot and even I don’t get who this is aimed at.
