I’m looking for some advice from fellow IHG members regarding a stay in Porto during an upcoming Spain and Portugal vacation. I currently have two nights booked at both the Vignette Collection property and the InterContinental, but I’ll only be keeping one reservation.
As a Royal Ambassador, I know I’m likely to receive excellent recognition and service at the InterContinental. However, I’ve never stayed at a Vignette hotel before, so I’m curious about what the experience is like and whether it offers something unique.
For this trip, I’ve already received upgrades to a King Suite at the Vignette and a Panoramic Suite at the InterContinental. The timing makes the decision even more important because the stay coincides with my birthday and our 20th wedding anniversary celebration.
If you had to choose between the two properties, which would you pick and what factors would influence your decision?
