I used to mostly fly European ultra low cost and some Asian carriers where the apps are pretty basic. Sometimes it is basically just a web based check in through Amadeus or Sabre.
Then I flew Lufthansa and was honestly surprised. Accurate luggage tracking, push notifications for boarding and final calls, proper Apple Wallet boarding pass support. It felt way more polished.
Made me realize how big the gap is between airlines when it comes to digital tools. Some clearly invest a lot more in their apps and backend systems.
