Starting regular MAD–YYZ trips next year for work, and I’ll likely stick with oneworld since MAD’s a hub. I’ll be flying J outbound and Y on the return. My main concern is missed connections or overnights, not minor delays.
Curious how you’d rank reliability among these hubs: LHR, JFK, ORD, PHL, CLT, MIA.
So far I’ve heard:
Avoid MIA in hurricane season
ORD can be rough in winter
LHR might be smooth since it skips U.S. immigration on the way to YYZ
CLT doesn’t get much love here
Anyone have recent experiences with these routes?
