I need to book a last-minute one-way flight of about 13 hours.
Right now, the pricing options are:
Economy: $1,900 or 55k miles
Business: $4,900 or 150k miles
I hold Elite Plus status with Turkish Airlines and am trying to understand my options.
If I book an economy ticket using miles, is it possible to later upgrade to business class using the complimentary upgrade benefit that comes with Elite Plus status?
I’m trying to avoid paying the full cash economy fare if there’s a way to upgrade instead.
