I was just on a return flight from Iceland and the legroom felt extremely tight. My knees were pressed into the seat in front for most of the flight, which made the experience pretty uncomfortable.
What made it worse was being asked to place my backpack under the seat, even though that space was already taken up by my feet and the seat hardware. There was barely any usable room left.
I am not particularly tall, so it is surprising that the seating feels this restrictive. It honestly felt tighter than some budget airlines.
Is this now standard on British Airways short haul flights, or was this just an older aircraft or specific configuration?
Curious if others have noticed the same issue.
