I was at Magic Kingdom recently and noticed Rivers of America is drained, Tom Sawyer Island looks like it’s being prepped for demolition, and the Liberty Belle Riverboat is completely gone from view. At first, I thought Disney had scrapped it, but then I learned it’s just sitting backstage at a marina. Still, with Cars Land expansion moving in, I can’t help but wonder if the Liberty Belle has any real future left in the park.
Personally, I’ve always loved the riverboat as a peaceful break from the chaos of Magic Kingdom. It’s not the most thrilling attraction, but it added a lot of charm to Liberty Square. Do you think Disney will eventually bring it back, or is it just going to sit in storage until they quietly phase it out? Curious what others think!
