But the flip side is, it makes Taiwan more expensive for inbound tourists, especially regional travelers looking for affordable getaways.
That’s a tricky balance. The stronger TWD might slow down international tourism just as they’ve been trying to attract more visitors. If they want to keep numbers up, Taiwan’s probably going to need some solid promotions or maybe better travel packages to stay competitive.
