I’m considering placing an upgrade bid for a Lufthansa business class seat on a red-eye flight from Los Angeles to Munich and I’m curious what amount would give me a realistic chance of success.
Since overnight long-haul flights are usually popular for upgrades because people want better sleep and lie-flat seats, I assume there will be a lot of competition. I’m hoping to stay under a budget of around $1,000 and would like to know what others have experienced with similar routes.
