i’m planning to attend a west end show as a solo traveller and noticed that some box seats are available at a relatively good price with a great view.
the boxes appear to have three seats each. i would normally choose an aisle seat, but the box seating seems appealing for a more private experience.
i would not book a seat that would place me directly next to an occupied pair in a way that interrupts their experience. however, i noticed some boxes where only the middle seat is already booked, and the other seats are still available.
i’m wondering if it is considered acceptable or poor etiquette to book one of the remaining seats in that box, assuming the other person is also a solo attendee and may prefer a quieter, more private setting.
looking for guidance on standard etiquette for box seating in this situation.
