I noticed some aft-facing cabins available on the Disney Fantasy and I’m curious about the experience of staying in these types of rooms, especially those located at the very back of the ship.
I’m trying to understand whether these cabins are generally considered a positive or negative choice compared to mid-ship or forward cabins.
Specifically, I’m wondering about:
Motion and stability (does it feel more movement at the aft?)
Noise levels (engine vibration, propulsion, or mechanical noise)
Views from the balcony (if applicable, is it noticeably better?)
Convenience in terms of walking distance to amenities on the ship
Would appreciate hearing from anyone who has actually stayed in aft cabins on Disney Cruise Line ships, especially on the Fantasy or similar ships.
Trying to decide if it’s worth booking or if it’s better to avoid them.
