Was on AA104 from JFK to London and we sat at the gate for over two hours past departure because there weren’t enough ground crew to load bags. The captain even sounded frustrated, saying he’s told people to do their jobs multiple times.
Then after that, we sat another 25 minutes for de-icing, with snow and icicles all over the wings. Two and a half hours late before even leaving the gate. Is this normal for JFK in winter or just bad staffing?
