Just watched a wild video by ExploringWithJosh on YouTube, and I still can’t get over the state of the abandoned Orlando Sun Resort. Located just 1.5 miles from Disney, it used to be one of the biggest and fanciest hotels in Central Florida. But now? It’s a graffiti-covered shell, housing homeless people and filled with trash. Some folks even claim it’s become a no-man’s-land with fires and violent incidents.
It’s eerie seeing a place that once welcomed families with pools and souvenir shops turn into a post-apocalyptic mess. The resort shut down for good in 2012 after cycling through owners and failed comebacks.
