I fly between Los Angeles (LAX) and New York (JFK) multiple times a month, usually around 4–6 one-way trips.
A couple of months ago I noticed Frontier stopped operating this route. I’m wondering if this is just seasonal, or if the route has been permanently removed.
I assume fuel costs or demand might be factors, but I’m curious if there is a clearer reason for the change.
Has anyone heard anything official about why LAX–JFK was dropped?
