I booked a hotel for my trip to Thailand through Booking.com. The booking shows as confirmed and I’ve already paid in full. It’s also non refundable.
Now the hotel keeps sending me messages and emails with links to another website asking me to pay a deposit. It’s not through Booking.com.
I’m worried that if I don’t pay, they’ll cancel my reservation without telling me and I’ll show up in Thailand with nowhere to stay.
Has anyone dealt with this before? Do I ignore it and only communicate through Booking.com, or is this normal?
