Heading to Antarctica this season and getting very excited. I’ve been watching Windy and other apps and the wave heights in the Drake seem to bounce all over the place.
It made me curious what people who’ve actually crossed consider calm or comfortable. Is 2 to 3 meters considered fine? Is 4 meters already rough? Or does rough really start at 5 to 6 meters and above?
I know you cross regardless and we’re packing seasickness meds either way. Just genuinely curious how those numbers translate to real life on the ship.
Would love to hear from anyone who’s done the Drake before.
