) WestJet slashes U.S. routes Canada-U.S. tensions taking a toll on travel

Just saw that WestJet is cutting nine U.S. routes this summer, including flights to Austin, Chicago, and New York. They’re citing a drop in demand and rising political tensions between Canada and the U.S.

Honestly, I can't say I'm surprised. With all the trade disputes and political rhetoric lately, it's no wonder Canadians are rethinking trips south of the border. I've noticed more friends opting for European destinations or exploring within Canada instead. It's a shame, though some of these U.S. cities are great to visit. But with the current climate, I get why people are hesitant. Anyone else changing their travel plans because of this?
