Had a strange one with Frontier the other day. An Up Front seat opened during boarding, but the app tried to charge me 62 bucks even though I’m Gold. Then it flipped to zero and still wouldn’t let me switch. Just kept telling me to see customer service.
Went to the gate and the agent basically snapped that they couldn’t help and the seat was taken. Ended up filing a chat complaint and they switched me after boarding anyway.
Such a bizarre experience. Anyone else had the app fight them like this?
