A chilling reminder for all nature lovers: Clinton and Cristen Brink, a couple from Bakersfield, were brutally killed while hiking with their two young daughters at Devil’s Den State Park in Arkansas. The attack occurred on July 26 in a remote, no-cell-service area of the park. Their daughters, ages 7 and 9, survived and are now safe with family. The suspect, a white male driving a black sedan with a taped-over license plate, remains at large. If you’re planning to hike in isolated areas, especially with family, please take every safety precaution possible.
