Booked a two-week rental through Turo and declined the extra coverage because my insurance company confirmed the rental would already be covered.
Paid for the trip and received a receipt with the agreed amount. The booking was non-refundable after 24 hours.
The next day, an additional charge of about $375 for coverage appeared on the credit card even though it was never selected. After contacting Turo support and pointing out the receipt and screenshots showing the original amount, the response changed, but the extra charge was still not refunded.
Support kept referring to the trip being non-refundable, even though the issue was a separate charge that was never approved.
