Just a heads up for anyone planning to park at EWR. I’ve used the Park2Go lot near Newark Airport for several years and even recommended it to others, but my most recent experience completely changed my opinion.
After returning from a trip, I discovered that someone had gone through my car. Several graduation announcement envelopes in the glove box had been opened and searched through, and two bottles of prescription medication were taken from the center console.
What made it even stranger was that someone else’s BMW keys, with a Park2Go tag on them, were left in my center console where the medication had been. That’s why I strongly believe it had to be an employee from the lot.
I’ve tried contacting the manager or owner multiple times with phone calls and emails but haven’t received any real response. They also claimed that since the reservation was made through SpotHero, I’m technically a customer of that service and not the parking lot itself.
After years of using this place without issues, this experience has been extremely disappointing and concerning.
