Walking Through a Miami Mansion Made Me Get the Hype

I was in Miami last month and got invited to tour a waterfront estate in Coconut Grove the kind you only see in glossy magazines. Stepping through the gates felt like entering another world. Palm-lined driveway, infinity pool blending into Biscayne Bay, and yes two kitchens one all marble and show-stopping, the other tucked away for the staff. Every room had floor-to-ceiling glass and ocean views, and there was a private dock big enough for a yacht that could cross to the Bahamas in a couple of hours.

The realtor said the buyer pool here is full of billionaires and celebs who want warm weather, no state income tax, and the ability to hop to Europe or Latin America in style. After seeing it, I get it Miami somehow manages to feel like both a luxury resort and a buzzing city. If money were no object, I think I’d be shopping here too. Would you?
