Visited Beverly, MA This Summer, Is It Really the No.1 Feel-Good”Spot?

I swung through Beverly, MA earlier this summer during a road trip up the Massachusetts coast and just saw it’s ranked the hottest ZIP code in the U.S. for 2025. Honestly, I can see some of the appeal. The coastline’s beautiful, and there’s a real laid-back vibe with cafes, small galleries, and that classic New England charm. You get access to beaches and Boston’s just a 30-minute drive.

That said, it didn’t totally wow me. Parts of the downtown felt a bit outdated, and for the price tags on homes, I expected more polish. The arts scene was active, and there are some great walking trails and local eats, but I left wondering if it’s more of a local gem than a destination.

Anyone else visited recently? Did it live up to the hype?
