Yikes Vegas is really feeling the slump right now. Occupancy dropped nearly 17% in early July and RevPAR is tanking too. That’s not just a blip either June was down almost 15% and May wasn’t much better. Apparently international travel is way off, especially from Canada, and the usual summer slowdown is hitting extra hard this year.
The hotel promos are flying now: waived resort fees, dining credits, cheap midweek deals you name it. It’s wild to see Vegas needing to hustle this hard to fill rooms. Curious if this is just a soft patch or something bigger brewing. Anyone headed out there soon seen thinner crowds?
