I was involved in an accident at the Spaghetti Bowl interchange and my car spun out into the far-right lane. After getting out of the vehicle, I moved toward the shoulder because I believed it would be the safest place to wait for emergency responders.
Instead, several vehicles used the shoulder to bypass traffic, even though nearby lanes appeared to be open. At one point, a Tesla traveling at a high speed came dangerously close to hitting me.
What upset me most was not that people failed to stop and help, but that multiple drivers appeared completely indifferent to someone who was visibly injured and waiting for assistance. Standing there in pain while cars passed within inches of me was a discouraging experience and left me feeling that basic consideration for others was lacking.
