Booked a hotel in Amsterdam through Booking.com and one of the highlights listed was valet parking. Sounded great, especially in a dense area.
Turns out the “parking” is just regular street parking in one of the busiest parts of the city, costing about €45 per day. No valet. No garage. Nothing hotel managed.
Tried to cancel once I realized this, but the hotel denied the request. Booking.com has been completely unresponsive so far as well.
Pretty frustrating experience and definitely feels misleading. Just a heads up to double check what “parking” actually means when booking in cities like Amsterdam.
